Vietnam Trip Provides Source For Film and Music Collectibles

On a recent holiday to Vietnam I discovered some great new movie art from blockbuster movies that have hit cinemas across the world. The artwork 30cm by 40cm have been produced on a very special Vietnamese paper called Do’. This paper is famous for its durability to produce a good quality product. This enhances the beauty of the artwork and would be a spectacular addition to Cinema rooms, man caves or even within the house at a very affordable price. Duncan’s Big Anniversary

Dudley will pay tribute to its favourite son this April in honour of Duncan Edwards record breaking England debut. A special dinner will be held in Duncan’s hometown of Dudley in the spring to mark 70 years since the United Legend made his England debut. The game played at Wembley on Saturday April 2nd 1955 saw a 7-2 victory against home nation rivals Scotland. At 18 years and 183 days old Edwards was at the time the youngest England debutant a record finally broken in 1998 by Michael Owen. Between lockdowns I had the pleasure of meeting Tony Brown at his home on a couple of occasions in relation to the Trevillion West Bromwich Albion Goal Scoring Legends print. Tony had done Mementos Memorabilia the huge honour of hand signing the three hundred limited edition Trevillion prints and this gave me a great opportunity to speak to my boyhood idle about football old and new and surprisingly the Amazon Firestick. Tony Bomber Brown is Mr Albion after joining West Bromwich Albion as a youth in 1961 he signed professional forms in 1963. Tony went on to play 720 competitive games for the Albion scoring 279 goals. Both the number of appearances and the number of goals scored are club records.…

This week, Mementos Memorabilia were honoured to present Super Bob Taylor with his West Bromwich Albion Goal Scoring Legends limited edition print, by artist Paul Trevillion. Bob Taylor played Centre Forward for West Bromwich Albion between 1992 and 2003. He is remembered for breathing new life into the Albion and successfully delivering the team back to the Premier League in 2002. Over his two spells with the club, totalling 377 appearances, Bob scored 131 goals and earned himself the accolade of being one of our Goal Scoring Legends as well as the well deserved title of ‘Super Bob’. Another ACE Events An Evening With with a Roy McDonough who returns to Walsall Football Club on Thursday 18th April 2019. Roy played 82 times for Walsall before leaving for Chelsea in 1980. This was followed by a further 14 years in the lower leagues with spells at Colchester, Southend, Exeter and Cambridge before entering management In 2012 Roy wrote an autobiography blowing the lid on his football career with stories of sex, booze and early baths. Geoff Horsfield Foundation Christmas Ball

The Geoff Horsfield Foundation returns to Birmingham Botanical Gardens on Friday 23rd March for a Black and White Christmas Ball. The ball will be hosted by Ritchie Anderson and features Drag Queen Miss Marty, Essential 80’s Tribute Band and a DJ. There will also be special guests in attendance.
